THE VELQURO APPROACH
Useful information should be easy to act on.
Designed for the everyday work behind every sale
Running a business involves much more than providing the service or product a customer buys. Behind a completed job there may be an initial lead, a quote or discussion to follow up, a customer record to maintain, an invoice to send, a payment to track, a project to organise, tasks to complete, and a deadline to meet. When a business begins to take on staff, there is a further layer of employee administration to keep organised. Velquro is designed to make this operational work more manageable without the complexity and cost of enterprise software.
Customer and sales tools help businesses maintain a structured picture of the people they work with and the opportunities they are pursuing. Rather than relying on memory or searching old emails, users can keep customer details, notes, lead sources, sales stages, and follow-up activity together. This is particularly valuable when several enquiries arrive at once or when a business needs a quick answer to a simple question: which opportunities need attention, which conversations are progressing, and which customer information is already on file?
From customer information to invoices and payment
Velquro’s finance tools are connected to customer information, helping reduce repeated data entry when invoices are created. Businesses can create invoices, add line items, track their status, and offer customers a secure way to pay through Stripe. Income and expense records can also be kept within the platform, providing an ongoing view of financial activity for everyday planning and oversight.
Payment processing is handled by Stripe rather than by Velquro directly. This means sensitive card details are processed within Stripe’s payment infrastructure instead of being stored on Velquro’s servers. Velquro does not hold customer funds, act as a bank, or take custody of money paid through an invoice. It provides the invoicing and payment-request tools; Stripe processes the payment. Bacs Direct Debit may be available through Stripe where supported.
Supporting delivery as the business grows
For consultants, agencies, trades businesses, and other service providers, winning work is only the beginning. The work then needs to be planned, assigned, delivered, and completed reliably. Velquro lets businesses create projects, break them into tasks, set deadlines, and assign responsibility to team members. This helps reduce the risk of important work being left in messages, informal notes, or one person’s memory.
Where a business has employees, the platform also supports the administrative side of managing a team. Employee records, leave requests, onboarding items, and employee documents can be kept in an organised workspace. Velquro does not process payroll, calculate wages, manage payroll deductions, or replace a dedicated payroll provider. It is intended to keep related business administration structured and accessible.
Reporting that connects the picture
Information is most useful when it can support a decision. Because Velquro brings customer, sales, finance, project, and team activity together, its reporting area is designed to give owners a clearer overview of how the business is operating. This can include visibility of the sales pipeline, invoices, income and expenses, and project activity, helping users understand what needs attention without manually assembling information from several separate systems.
One-off payment, not another subscription
What sets Velquro apart from many competing platforms isn't just the breadth of what it covers, but the way access is structured. Rather than locking customers into an ongoing monthly or annual subscription that quietly renews in the background, Velquro is available through a one-off payment. You select the package that matches the size and needs of your business, complete a single secure purchase processed through Stripe, and gain lifetime access to the platform and the feature set included in that package — no recurring core fee, and no surprise renewal charge landing in your inbox months later.
Plans differ by the combination of features and usage limits included, not by locking core tools behind higher tiers. A solo freelancer with modest needs might select a smaller package built around customer records, invoicing, and payment collection, while a growing agency with employees can select a package with broader team assignment, HR, and reporting limits. The underlying platform — and the philosophy behind it — stays the same: bring your core business operations into one dashboard, and let Velquro handle the plumbing connecting your customers, your projects, your people, and your finances. Full details of current packages and their usage limits are kept up to date on our pricing page.
A 14-day money-back guarantee
Committing to software you haven't yet had the chance to use in earnest can feel like a leap of trust, particularly with a one-off payment rather than a low-commitment monthly subscription. To make that decision easier, eligible Velquro purchases include a 14-day money-back guarantee — a genuine window to explore the platform, set up your account with your own customer data, your own projects, and your own financial records, and judge for yourself whether Velquro fits the way your business operates. The specific terms, process, and any exclusions that apply are set out in full in our refund policy, which we encourage every customer to review before purchasing.
Growing with your business
Businesses change. A solo freelancer today might bring on a subcontractor next year; a three-person consultancy might double in size over the following eighteen months. Because the underlying platform is the same across every package — the same CRM, the same project management tools, the same HR administration features, and the same financial record-keeping tools — moving to a package with a broader feature set or higher usage limits as your business grows doesn't mean learning an entirely new system or migrating your data to a different provider. It means unlocking more of the same dashboard you're already familiar with, applied to a business that has grown in scale.
Plans that reflect business needs
Not every business needs the same tools on day one. A freelancer may mainly need customer records, follow-ups, invoices, and payment collection. A growing business may need lead tracking and income or expense records, while a business with staff may require project, task, employee, leave, onboarding, and document tools. Velquro is offered through plans so customers can select the tools that fit their current needs and move to a more comprehensive plan as those needs change.
What Velquro is — and what it is not
Because Velquro touches on areas — customer management, HR, and financial record-keeping — that overlap with more heavily regulated industries, we think it's important to be entirely clear about the boundaries of what we do and do not provide. Velquro is a software provider: we build and maintain a web-based platform that gives you tools to manage customer relationships, organise projects, administer HR-related records, and keep financial records, all within a single dashboard. Everything within the platform — every customer record, every project, every employee entry, every invoice and expense — is information entered, maintained, and used by you and your team, for your own business's purposes.
There are things Velquro explicitly does not do, and we want to state these plainly. We do not hold or transmit customer funds on behalf of third parties, and we are not a payment processor or money transmission service in our own right — payments your customers make to you happen outside of, and independently from, the Velquro platform itself. We do not process payroll, and we do not act as a payroll provider or an employer-of-record service on behalf of any customer. We do not provide accounting, tax, financial, investment, or legal advice of any kind, and we do not file tax returns on behalf of customers. Velquro is not a bank, a licensed money services business, an investment platform, or a regulated financial institution of any kind. Businesses remain responsible for the accuracy of the information they enter and for their own financial, tax, and employment obligations, and should use appropriately qualified advisers — an accountant, a tax advisor, an employment lawyer, or the equivalent — where needed.
Getting started
Getting up and running is designed to be straightforward, reflecting our broader philosophy that small businesses, freelancers, and agencies shouldn't need a lengthy implementation project just to start managing their operations more effectively. The platform is entirely web-based, so customers can access it from a device with a modern browser and internet connection — there is nothing to download or install. After choosing a package and completing your purchase through Stripe, your account is provisioned and you can log in to begin setting up your dashboard, starting with whichever module is most immediately useful to your business.
Velquro's support and account team — including Kiran Bhusal, our account representative — is based in Newham, London, and is intended to offer approachable, practical support to businesses with different levels of technical confidence.
